Entropy Of Consciousness

By looking microscopically at the truths of our own self leadership, we begin to learn about where the challenges are. So for instance, one big challenge is the tension between internal motivations that might be hope-based internal motivations like ‘I hope to be a better Buddhist.’, and the external fear based motivation, which most of us work with, right? ‘I have a meeting at 8:00. I better get out of bed.’

And so just experimenting with those two things or realizing the power of– what I call– the entropy of consciousness.

So say we make a plan, and as soon as we create a plan, whether it’s as simple as ‘I’m going to walk from this room to the other room and grab and and get my yoga mat’ – for me, sometimes I don’t get there, because my mind goes somewhere else and I’m off doing something else.

So our consciousness is continuously kind of wavering and disintegrating, right. We make a plan and we say, ‘oh wow, look at this, I wrote this whole plan out two weeks ago. I totally forgot it existed’

Every business person, or leader of any kind has experienced that.
