One of the important ways we connect and allow the staff and management to connect with each other is we host these fireside chats every month. And it’s a company event. So it’s all hands on deck. It’s in-person, as close as we can get during the COVID requirements these days.
But we come together as a group and I present a slide. We go over financials so that everybody in the organization knows where we’re at. We’re doing well. We’re not doing well. And then I present a few comments on some high level components of where we’re at and what I foresee in the coming months.
And I rotate that around every month. We do this every month and I pull from different departments. So it gives everyone a sense for what’s going on. They get to see other people. At the end of it, we have an open Q&A, and any question is on the table, even the tough ones.
So it’s really become kind of a collecting point every month for the employees to get a pulse of the business a year from management and hear from fellow employees what’s going on in the organization.
