I’m not the smartest guy in the room.
I can tell you that right now, my job is not to be the smartest person in the room. My job is to foster our team to think innovatively and be successful. And anybody who’s got the ego of an innovation-advanced-concept R and D mindset – that they’re the only ones that are worthy – well then you should be a chief engineer or a lead engineer or whatever.
You shouldn’t be the the leader of that unit.
