There is a great book called ‘Ice Age’ about how long it takes for people to change their minds – even scientists, even people who have taken the oath to search for truth and really look at the data.
Convincing people that an Ice Age had happened and that glaciation was a real thing and that it formed the Alps took at least a generation, maybe more!
