I think it’s a rare breed. People that really want to challenge their own beliefs or, you know, push a skill or learn a skill because it’s so easy, especially as we get older, for us to just stagnate.
And so what I love about this is it’s a it’s a it’s not only an educational vehicle. There’s a lot of them out there, but the model of putting a bunch of really wonderful content out there for free.
You know, it’s not gatekeeping. That really, really drew me towards this group, as well as the ability to for people to sign on and and invest more in their education to get more in depth in an area with an educator or something like that.
Steve’s Thoughts:
Challenging your beliefs or developing new skills requires intentional effort. For many professionals, especially as their careers progress, stagnation becomes easier than growth. That’s why open-access learning platforms offer something unique—not only information, but inspiration.
By removing traditional gatekeeping, these models welcome curiosity rather than qualification. High-quality, free content paired with deeper learning opportunities provides learners with multiple entry points, regardless of background or title.
This approach builds a culture of shared growth. It doesn’t rely on exclusivity. It thrives on participation. And when paired with educator-led mentorship, it delivers both access and depth—without compromising the learner’s agency or integrity.
