And another really important thing is that just making a product recyclable, meaning technically it could be recycled, is not the answer!
Because there are probably many, many reasons why it may not actually get recycled. It depends on what you’re making it from. Some materials have a really easy recycle stream.
But really just using less stuff to begin with is so much more important.
And is there a way to do that and not just jump on, “Let’s put a recycling symbol on our product or on our packaging and say we are being good stewards of the environment?”
